The details of Shawkan's trial.. summoning some witnesses of the prosecution

The 28th Criminal Cairo Circuit, held in the institution of the police officers in Tura by the judge Hassan Faried, decided adjournment for implementing defense requests to April in the case bearing the number 43150 for year 2015 and recorded with the number 2985 for year 2015 total east Cairo, that is known by " The dispersal of Rabaa sit-in" of which  "Mahmoud Abuzied Shawkan", a press photographer in "Demotex" agency, is accused.

The hearing started at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 21st  with the defense panel apology to the court for what had happened from their side in the previous hearing.

As a result, The court agreed to cancel the decision of a year imprisonment with labor to the accused except for Shawkan and another 11 for breaching the hearing's order because of shouting against the court panel inside the dock and referring the defense to disciplinary court.

The court assured that they will not cancel any decision again in case of preaching the hearing's order.

In the previous trial. The defense team insisted to present the videos in a public hearing before the report of the technical committee mandated by the Radio and Television union, while the judge refused their request and said "we will be informed of its content by the written report of the technical committee" and they were already excluded because of not relating to the case.

It is worth mentioning that some lawyers have asked for the case to be adjourned pending another case that is numbered 23343 for year 2015, that consider the reasons of  killing some people at the incidents of "Raba'a al-Adawiya" square as a new case that relate to the same incidents and they also demanded including all the medical reports of the people died and injured in these incidents.

From the other side, although" Shawkan" had had medical examination but the medical report didn't arrive yet and he is still remanded in preventive custody without considering his health status.

The most outstanding accused in this case are leaders of the brotherhood association including Mohamed Badiee ,the general guide, besides "Osama" the son of the former president "Mohamed Morsi".

The security troops had arrested Shawkan while photographing the dispersal of Rabaa sit-in in August 2013, the he was remanded in preventive custody with the accusation of belonging to the Muslim brotherhood association and joining an armed sit-in.
